What Can Kids Do With the Strips?

  • identify upper and lowercase letters
  • trace each letter (A dot on each letter provides a visual cue for the proper starting point.)
  • name objects that start with the letter
  • listen for the sound as they say each word
  • circle the letter at the beginning of each word
  • punch a hole in each section of the strip
  • Kids can also staple the strips into a bracelet, cut the strips, or fold the strips.
