Color Words Play Dough Activity Mats : Multi-Sensory Color Word Practice

Teach color words with these multi-sensory play dough and activity mats. Kids can practice the words in any different ways. This hands-on activity is great for your ELA centers and literacy centers and workstations in preschool, pre-k and kindergarten. This product contains 10 color activity mats in BOTH full color and black and white.

Use the mats as a multi-sensory method for reinforcing your language arts lessons or use them for color sorting objects.

Each 8.5 x 11" mat is divided into the following four areas for students to reinforce sight word learning:

★BUILD The color word printed at the top of each page in a large font provides an opportunity to build the word using play dough or waxed yarn. Students can cover the word with buttons, baubles, or counters; color the word; or finger trace the word.

★READ An illustrated sentence provides the opportunity for students to identify the word and read the word in context.

★TRACE Students can trace each word over the dotted font.

★WRITE Students can write the word on the lines.
