Use the mats as a multi-sensory method for reinforcing your language arts lessons.

Each 8.5 x 11" mat is divided into the following four areas:

• Build The sight word printed at the top of each page in a large font provides an opportunity to build the word using play dough or waxed yarn. Students can cover the word with buttons, baubles, or counters; color the word; or finger trace the word.
• Read An illustrated sentence provides the opportunity for students to identify the word and read the word in context.
• Trace Students can trace each word over the dotted font.
• Write Students can write the word on the lines.
