Looking for activities to help you teach and develop phonological awareness and syllable awareness? The phonological awareness activity cards provide a variety of activities and exercises that will help your kids develop their syllable awareness skills in a fun and engaging way. The beginning activities help your kids learn to help your kids hear, segment, and blend syllables in compound words. The cards then progress through more challenging activities to help you teach your kids to count and clap syllables, add syllables, delete syllables and change syllables in words to create new words.
For each activity, there are 10 or 20 suggested daily exercises using specific word picture cards that you can do with your kids. It only takes a few minutes to do an exercise, and you can fit them into your regular daily routine during large group time or transitions.
